The Mini Vault range has been approved and certified by Sold Secure in accordance with European Standard EN 14450-S2. In Europe, the cash and valuables rating is usually based on independence burglary resistance standards decided on by the European Centre for Standardisation. These security standards are known as EN 14450.
Sold Secure is owned by the Master Locksmiths Association and it is the only testing house to run two testing procedures. As well as testing to European Standard EN14450, Sold Secure also tests to its own Quality Mark, where approval is classified into three main categories; Bronze, Silver and Gold. These categories reflect the amount of time per test and the tools that are used and themselves vary depending on what test specification is being used. The higher the grading (Bronze is the lowest) the higher the security provided by the product.

The Mini Vault, after passing these stringent tests, has also met the high standards set by Secured by Design (SBD) a national Police crime prevention initiative which aims to reduce burglary and other crime types using the principles of good design and appropriate physical security measures.
