Cell observation is a vital duty for officers and staff, ensuring residents or patients are safe and secure to check access is clear before entry. Cell security mirrors are cost effective and provide a full view of the cell from the door area. Because mirrors based in institutions are at high risk of damage and abuse, cell mirrors need to be tough enough to withstand intentional damage or attempted misuse. They need to be fixed in such a way that they cannot be removed or broken into down into dangerous weapons and they should not pose a risk as a potential ligature fastening.

Developed and enhanced specifically for use in the harshest institutional environments such as police stations, prisons and secure hospitals, our mirrors are manufactured to meet stringent Home Office, Police and Prison Service requirements. They are unbreakable and virtually ligature free once locked into the special powder coated steel frame and fixed with anti-pick filler.

These unbreakable mirrors are available in a variety of styles and sizes using either polycarbonate or stainless steel mirror face. UK Home Office assessed for correctional facilities and Metropolitan Police assessed for cells. Cell mirrors are manufactured with the highest quality materials, they provide superior, distortion free, reflective image.
